Born from a Better Idea
The Alliance Party was founded by Jim Rex, former South Carolina Superintendent of Education. After years of watching the two-party system fail ordinary Americans, Jim and a coalition of independent thinkers decided it was time to create a new option — one that puts people ahead of politics.
We are not a party of the left or the right. We are a party of the people. Our candidates run as independent leaders who are endorsed and supported by the Alliance Party infrastructure, allowing them to appeal to voters across the entire political spectrum.
Since our founding, we have supported candidates in multiple states and our mission continues to grow: building a national movement of independent, people-first leaders who will reshape American governance.
